Dieser Blend of Mats ruht seit 19 Jahren als Einzelfass-Release in einem Refill Sherry Butt um zu einer Einheit heranzureifen. Bereits im Jahr 2001 wurden die teilweise bereits gealteten Malts in dieses schöne 500-Liter-Fass umgefüllt. Seitdem wurden sie allein gelassen, um zu harmonisieren, bis wir beschlossen, dass es Zeit ist zum Abfüllen. Wie alle unsere Abfüllungen befindet sich dieser Release in natürlicher Fassstärke bei 45,9% vol.
 
Blair Bowman's tasting notes:
N: Wow - amazing amounts of dried tropical funk and sweet citrus freshness.
Very ripe bananas, dried mango but with some fresh citrus zing, red grapefruit peel. Black pepper spices and cloves with a hint of star anise later.
 
P: Really good mouthfeel with coating textures. Layers of tropical fruits unfold to old leather chairs and freshly waxed mahogany. Warming spices come later but are well integrated with the citrus notes. Really well balanced and integrated.
Excellent combinations of old tropical funk, fresh citrus sweetness and warming spice.
 
F: Very long and lingering. Very quaffable and moreish.
